Applications are invited for admission to the one-year full-time PG Diploma Course in Digital Humanities and Cultural Informatics at the School of Cultural Texts and Records, Jadavpur University.
Eligibility: The course is open to post-graduates (MA/ MSc/ MTech/ MLIS or equivalent in any discipline with 55% or above; SC/ ST/ PD 50% or above). Students who have finished their final examinations and are awaiting results may also apply, provided that they have the requisite marks in previous components/ semesters.
Familiarity with basic computer operations is essential.
Duration: 2 semesters (August-December, January-May).
Tentative date of commencement of classes: TBA
Course fee: Rs 3000 per semester (Rs 6000 for entire course).
Last date for submission of applications: 24 July 2014.
Application forms should be downloaded from the University website, and must be submitted at the Project Room of the School of Cultural Texts and Records, Jadavpur University, along with a Demand Draft of Rs 100 drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Jadavpur University”, as application fee.
